In response, we devised an innovative solution to make webinars accessible at minimal costs. Leveraging existing tools, we opted for Microsoft Teams as our platform for online course delivery and participant registration. To ensure seamless follow-up with registered participants, we conceived the idea of a dashboard that intricately links our Microsoft Teams registration form with Microsoft Excel. This integration utilizes the powerful capabilities of Power Query in Excel, allowing us to efficiently track registrations and enhance the overall webinar experience. First, the Microsoft Teams Webinar registration form needs to be connected to an Excel table using Power Query. This can be done by selecting “From Web” in Power Query and entering the URL of the registration form. The registration form will then be imported into Excel as a table.
Next, a query can be created in Power Query to summarize the data in the registration form table and count the number of registered persons. This query can then be loaded into Excel as a table or pivot table.
By refreshing the Excel table or pivot table, the number of registered persons can be updated automatically as new registrations are received.
